What follows are some interesting and
whimsical signs, places, etc. little known facts about Sedalia we thought you
"should know"- we get a kick out of some of them, and hope you do
too! Here goes-
"Grand Champion Barrow" -for
Chris
110* on our thermometer
"Burger Dog" -a hamburger with
a hot dog on top, with all
the trimmings at Freddys ( ask
Lester about this one)
"Goober Burger"-Burger with
peanut butter on top ( they were
closed. (too bad)
Town murals-"House of
Vacuums" and "Scott Joplin"(grew up in
Sedalia and began his Ragtime
Musical career here)
Upside down Christmas tree in the
Country Kitchen Restaurant
"Dickie Doo Bar B Que" name
came from the owner who said
"Dickie Doo Bar B Que is so good your stomach will
stick
out farther than your
Dickie Doo!!!!" (you can get up
from
the floor now!)
